Q: Why can't I have someone in my family who is very handy or a contractor, inspect my new home?

A: Education and experience.  A professional Home Inspector will instinctively find issues that a contractor or “handy man” may not be looking for or may overlook. Inspectors are trained to observe conditions that are suspect.  Many contractors, and other trades professionals hire a professional home inspector to inspect their homes when they make a purchase.
